letting go

.... i've found that there is one area of life that is simply beyond our control.       you know what i'm talking about.   amore.

ninety nine percent perspiration can be given.....    but there is at least 1 percent that is just not in your control.... i guess one can only give her 99%.   give freely, place an intention out there.    make an effort, try.

And maybe enjoy trying.  Learn from trying.    Enjoy giving, presenting one's 99......

Perhaps this has relevance too, supposedly from Einstein (but I haven't bothered to affirm) "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it"

Just breathe, let go and be present in the moment.

easier said than done, but just keep trying.  just keep trying.

Your attitude in life determines the altitude you'll achieve

So keep a positive one, and aim high, even when a part of you wants to stay behind on the couch or in the bed.

Rest, yes, but keep planning for flights to take you far.

So, putting that to practice in my life....... the trip out was fine... now to make sure I didn't sacrifice my chance to stay on task... by now keeping my nose to the grindstone when I'd rather be watching a movie or taking a drink.

You can do it, you can do it!   Keep working!   You are doing a good job!

finding a voice

Tonite I feel some frustration, because I tried to speak up for myself, I did.... but it wasn't heard and the other person 'won' or got what was initially suggested.   I agreed to it after speaking up and what I said wasn't even considered.     So it is 'on me'.     It's totally not a big deal at all......     just a totally 'small pie' sorta thing, but the concept is frustrating to me, because it represents the way things go in larger decisions/areas in my life.

hmmm........  this is the best I see related to this issue right now.....

Helen Keller

Posted by a friend...
Hellen Keller was asked, "What would be worse than being born blind?" she replied, "to have sight without VISION". What is YOUR VISION?
DONT LOSE FOCUS!

You are good

Do not deny your own goodness and light from shining.     Get out of your own way.
Let go of the drama of fears and worry and hate.    Lay it down.   Realize you, at your soul, are good.   Just be.  Let your goodness and kindness express, and share with others.

"Let not your heart be troubled.   Be not afraid"

Treat yourself!    And treat yourself and others with kindness!

"Yes to knowing who you are and letting others see."

fate?

I cannot believe the hand of cards I have been dealt.     I have been offered a job as a 'real scientist' paid to tackle a research plan I have developed!       It just amazes me that I have been given this chance.....     and who wrote the proposal?   who put in the application?     who thought it would be a good idea to put lil ole me in a 'spotlight scientist' role.      i yi yi....

That seminar many years ago, though, comes to mind.     Speak From the Heart     He taught us to just let our passions 'do the talking'.   I do love learning and exploring science...... step by step, inch by inch.

n' holla!!!!!!!

Year of Relaxation ? ! ?

So ironically, the Year of the Rabbit - an animal more typically associated with Bisy Backsonism is supposed to be a year for taking it easy, being introspective....  r e l a x i n g.     Hmmm.....   interesting concept.

On a semi related note....  I'll take any tips I can find regarding taking a lax approach to writing....  Letting it flow like a yogic vinyasa.

As a kind friend told me last nite "it's good to be ambitious".
